It is a matter of great pride and privilege to join as DC Bhopal.
In the present situation the education system is undergoing rapid changes in terms of focus areas, options, Indianisation, leisure requirements and technology. As school leaders, we need to constantly reinvent ourselves to suit the changing needs and aspirations of society. NCF is talking about sweeping changes in examinations, early childhood pedagogy, language skills and leisure skills.
We need to read NCF in depth and make amendments in KV wherever required. But as school leaders we need to ensure such transitions go smoothly. For this we have to make efforts to explain the real policies and needs to our stakeholders like parents, students and teachers. Moving stakeholders from their fixed mindset to a growth mindset can be challenging for all of you. But this is the need of the hour. We should be very clear on what is essential and what is non-essential in our school activities and try to increase the essential activities more.
We will increase our strength and bring a little change in some essential areas with your enthusiasm and participation. All the students of KVS Bhopal area are dear to us. We need to facilitate their proper education and ensure their academic achievement and well-being within the time frame of their school days. As Confucius said, “We have two lives. The second begins when you realize you only have one.”
